Earth Children Global news

Many thanks to Sue from Byron Bay who came over and spent alot of time with the children and gave us a very professional plan for the proposed childrens playground area. The new area is proposed to start at the end of May with the approval of the Banjah.

The back filling and turfing of the regenerated area at the old tip site is now complete. Planting of shrubs has also been completed. We are no awaiting funds to allow us to finish the drainage at each side and purchase the Buddha statue and the statue of Wisnu.

We are presently preparing all the official papers for our registration as a Non-Profit Organisation here is Bali. This is expected to take a further four weeks and will allow us to then apply for our Non-Profit registration in Australia.

Many thanks to all our international visitors who have enjoyed the Sunday walks with the children and removing the plastic from our environment and making our village a safer place for the whole community.

With the introduction of Dr. Dewa to the board of Earth Children Global, a new medical section is being established to provide medical care for the underprivileged.

I will continue to provide further updates as these events unfold.
